Each year in November, ACTELA co-sponsors the Arkansas Curriculum Conference (ACC). ACC offers dozens of ADE-approved professional development sessions centered around instruction and student learning.
During the 2016 conference, ACTELA's featured author was Sonia Gensler. Sonia is the author of two young adult novels, The Revenant (Knopf, 2011) and The Dark Between (Knopf, 2013), and a new novel for middle grade readers, Ghostlight (Knopf, Fall 2015).
